The VU+ DUO 4K is a twin satellite receiver designed for modern 4K UHD resolution. Equipped with a dual-core processor and a powerful graphics chip, the device delivers smooth picture playback even with high-resolution streams. Recording functions and storage options

 

The DUO 4K features two tuners, enabling simultaneous recording and viewing of different channels. Recordings can be saved directly to an internal 2.5-inch hard drive or to external USB storage devices. Time-shifted viewing is possible thanks to the integrated PVR function, allowing programs to be paused and resumed later. Additionally, the receiver supports network streaming via LAN or WLAN, simplifying centralized media file management and enabling access to content from NAS devices or other network sources.

 

Software and expansion options

 

The VU+ DUO 4K runs on the Linux-based Enigma2 operating system and offers a wide selection of plugins, skins, and extensions. Users can access EPG data, set automated recording timers, and access numerous streaming services. The software is regularly updated, ensuring immediate availability of new features and security updates. Furthermore, CI+ modules for pay TV and additional satellite modules can be installed, increasing the receiver's flexibility in terms of channel reception and encryption.
